White Sands Tax Services Ranks #3 on Best in Long Beach’s 2026 Bookkeeping List

As of October 2026, White Sands Tax Services has been ranked #3 on Best in Long Beach’s 2026 list of the 10 Best Bookkeeping Services in Long Beach.

Being recognized by a local ranking website is always appreciated; however, for us, this is more than just a nod from the community. Starting White Sands Tax Services meant we could build a company devoted to transforming bookkeeping. All of us have seen firsthand the negative impact inaccurate bookkeeping can have on a small business; this is due in large part to inaccurate records as well as a lack of explanation regarding the impacts of various business decisions. Bookkeeping should help a business owner truly understand their numbers and the story they tell. This, in turn, should help an owner make more informed decisions regarding their business.

How Best in Long Beach Determines Their Rankings

According to Best in Long Beach’s ranking methodology, their rankings are determined using public Google ratings and review counts.

Rather than simply averaging star ratings, Best in Long Beach determines a weighted score that considers a business’s Google rating, number of reviews, and the average rating for the category. This is intended to prevent a business with only a few reviews from automatically outranking a business with a larger history of customer feedback.

Unlike many other business ranking websites, Best in Long Beach says their rankings are not for sale; partner placements are clearly distinguished and do not alter the business rankings.

In the October 2026 listing, White Sands Tax Services was shown with a 5.0 rating out of 5 and 38 Google reviews. We placed 3rd out of the 10 businesses on the final bookkeeping list within the Long Beach area.

Importance of Client Reviews and Online Rankings

Online ratings are one of the many factors a client should consider when selecting a bookkeeping service. While these ratings provide insight into client experiences, they do not replace a direct conversation with the firm regarding experience and service, as well as pricing and other factors.

We are thankful for the opportunity to acknowledge our clients publicly, and grateful for their trust and support.

Because bookkeeping involves the maintenance of a client’s financial records, client trust is crucial in order to effectively complete the task. We strive to ensure our clients are comfortable by providing excellent and understandable service.

Organized financial records allow a business owner to fully comprehend the status of their business and make informed decisions. For this reason, we find it important that bookkeeping not be viewed solely as a service to support tax return preparation.

White Sands Tax Services provides multiple bookkeeping and payroll services. Offering various bookkeeping-related services helps us maintain consistency in clients’ data and spot large data inconsistencies.

Our firm is family owned and run. Being educators, we understand the value of communicating with clients, and have designed our system to ensure we explain every process and its relevance to clients, and teach clients what they should be looking out for in the future.

We have an office in Long Beach and can provide services remotely to clients throughout California and across the US.

Being ranked among the top three businesses on this bookkeeping list is an accomplishment for us and a greater reminder to the White Sands Tax Services team that their hard work is paying off.
