Why White Sands Tax Services?

White Sands Tax Services is a family-owned, Long Beach–based firm built on trust, clarity, and long-term relationships. We take a personal approach to tax preparation, combining professional expertise with genuine care for the individuals and businesses we serve.

What truly sets us apart is our commitment to education. As experienced education professionals, we don’t just prepare and file your taxes, we explain them. We take the time to walk you through your return, clarify what you owe (or why you’re getting a refund), and help you understand how tax decisions impact your financial future. Our goal is for you to feel informed and confident, not rushed or confused.

We also prioritize security and organization at every step. Our process is designed to protect your sensitive information while keeping documents, communications, and deadlines streamlined and easy to manage. You’ll always know where things stand and what comes next.

Clients appreciate our flexibility. We offer both in-person appointments for those who prefer a local, face-to-face experience and fully remote services for clients who value convenience or live outside the area. No matter how you work with us, you receive the same level of care and attention.

Finally, we’re here for more than just tax season. White Sands Tax Services provides year-round support, so you’re never left scrambling when questions come up. Whether it’s planning ahead, responding to a notice, or simply understanding changes in your situation, we’re a steady resource you can rely on.

Transparent Pricing

At White Sands Tax Services, we believe pricing should be clear, fair, and free of surprises. Because every tax return is different, costs can vary based on complexity, filing requirements, and the level of support needed. Rather than using one-size-fits-all pricing, we take a more personalized approach.

After a brief review of your situation, we confirm the scope of work and your total fee upfront. You’ll always know the cost before we finalize or file anything, so you can move forward with confidence and without pressure.

As a thank-you for choosing us, first-time clients receive $50 off their total fee (applies once; not combinable; not applicable to W-2 only filings). It’s our way of welcoming you and showing our commitment to building long-term relationships based on transparency, trust, and value.

What Should I Gather for the Consultation?

You don’t need to have everything perfectly organized before booking your free consultation. Our goal is to make the process approachable, not overwhelming. That said, having a few key items handy can help us better understand your situation and make your free consultation more productive.

If available, it’s helpful to gather basic information about your income sources, such as whether you receive W-2 wages, 1099 income, or earn income through self-employment or a small business. Even a general overview is enough to get started.

You should also be prepared to mention any major life or financial changes that may affect your taxes. This could include a move, marriage or divorce, new dependents, purchasing or selling a home, starting a business, or taking on side or gig work.

Finally, if you’ve received any IRS or state tax notices, bring those along. These help us quickly identify issues that may need attention and ensure we’re giving you accurate guidance from the start.

If you’re missing something, that’s okay. We’ll walk you through what’s needed next and help you get organized step by step.
