New Clients: How to Submit Your Tax Documents Online
You don’t have to wait until we meet to start the process. Once you’re ready, you can use our secure online client portal to share your tax documents, send messages, and later review and sign forms—all from your computer or smartphone.
To get started, simply open the client portal and follow the instructions you see there.
Click the Client Portal button above.
Either create a new account or log in with your existing one.
Once you’re logged in, follow the prompts and checklists in the portal to upload your documents and complete any tasks assigned to you.
If you’re not sure what to do at any point, you can send us a message directly through the portal or reach out using the Contact page on our website.
Using the Client Portal
What Kinds of Documents Should I Upload?
The portal will guide you, but in general, common tax documents include:
W-2s from employers
1099 forms (interest, dividends, self-employment, retirement, etc.)
Records of self-employment or side-gig income and expenses
Mortgage interest statements and property tax bills
Forms for student loan interest
Records of charitable contributions
Health insurance forms, if applicable
Any IRS or state tax notices you’ve received
If you’re unsure whether something is relevant, you can upload it or ask us in the portal.
Keeping your information safe:
Always use the client portal to share tax documents.
Please do not email or text documents that contain Social Security numbers or full account numbers.
Create a strong, unique password for your portal account and don’t share it with anyone.
If you ever receive a message that doesn’t look right, check with us using the contact information on our website before clicking any links.
